USB READER WITH AMPLIFIER

This project is designed for the users to read the MP3 stored in a Pen drive and to play the audio through USB.

It mainly consists of USB connector, USB reading IC, audio amplifier circuit, IR remote circuit and speakers.

As soon as the pen drive is connected in the USB, the USB IC reads the MP3 data in the pen drive.  The MP3 data is converted into audio signal and given to the audio amplifier section.  The audio amplifier section amplifies the audio signal.  This signal is given to the speaker.

Thus we can listen the songs stored in the pen drive in easy manner.  The sound quality is good.

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION

USB

            USB is Universal Serial Bus.  This is the USB socket.  The user can insert the pen drive in the USB socket or drive.

USB Reader

            As soon as the pen drive is connected in the USB drive, the USB Reader IC reads the data stored in the pen drive.  It converts digital signal into audio signal which is given to the audio amplifier IC.

Audio amplifier

            The signal from the USB IC is very weak.  This weak signal is given to the audio amplifier IC.  The audio amplifier amplifies the weak signal into high signal and the amplified signal is given to the speaker.

Speaker

            Speaker is used to hear the audio sound.  When the audio signal is given to the coil of the speaker, the coil vibrates according to the audio signal.  Thus the diaphragm connected with the coil gets vibrated and it produces sound according to the audio signal.  Thus the user can hear the sound.
